How to install Hermes Agent.

Install Hermes only after deciding where it should run and which model provider, tools, and gateway you want.

Steps

1. Read the official Hermes README first.
2. Choose local machine, VPS, or cloud runtime.
3. Run the official installer for your OS.
4. Run setup and pick a model provider.
5. Start with CLI before adding messaging.
6. Enable one low-risk toolset and test a small workflow.
7. Only then add gateways, cron, or OpenClaw migration.
